The goal of The Simple Portrait is to capture character and personality.  This is different from "normal" portraits in that they are not sterile and lifeless captures of the individual.  Instead, I strive to create a vibrant and living photograph.

    Rather than use a studio, I prefer a unique and/or comfortable location for the shoot.  This can be at the home, in nature, or any other location.  My services range from providing prints (any size from wallet to 20x30 inch poster size), framing, colorplaques (my personal favorite), CDs or DVDs.  In addition, many levels of expert editing are available -- from simply removing a pimple, to more extreme editing.  In all cases, you will be able to review the images before ordering.

    The minimum charge for a sitting (up to one hour) is $100 and includes a single 8x12, two 5x7s, four 4x6s, or eight wallets.  Additional prints of the same photo are $10 for any combination of the above.  Pricing for additional prints of different photos, CDs, or DVDs is based entirely upon volume, framing options, and editing.  In some cases, fees may be waived for models who allow me to use their pics for my portfolio.  In these instances, the model will have the final decision on which images I may use.

    Furthermore, privacy is of utmost importance to me, and no images will be made available to anyone except the customer, unless the customer allows otherwise (all models on this website have given permission to have their images displayed).  It goes without saying that I take great pride in my work and fully stand behind it.  If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied, you will receive a full refund.
